Ready, Set, Go!

It has been quite a month so far here in Bundleland. Two weeks ago we opened our exhibit “Nearly-Fifty Year Legacy” at Chester’s Whiting Library where a dozen of my dolls, half real and half motif, are on display in the computer room during November and December. Part of the magic for Lew and I was creating a mural-sized timeline covering our nearly 50 years. Next I held an interview on Skype with an elementary school in San Diego doing a stuffed animal project. And this week we began a “Create a Face” during the After School Program with Whiting children’s librarian Jeanne. The creative buzz was sensational, so we are going back in two weeks. No wonder all this activity has stimulated a new doll design with alpaca eyes.

Another special connection was going to the Montshire Museum in Norwich, VT to hear two extraordinary women talk about conservation—Liz Titus Putnam, founder of the Student Conservation Association where I worked for 17 years and former governor of VT, Madeleine Kunin. I am thinking why not conduct doll workshops and/or an exhibit in 2018 at the Montshire, a marvelous children’s learning center.

And so now I am reaching out to my returning customers and recent visitors we met this summer to remind all that they have only five weeks until Christmas if they wish to order a doll. Nearly 50 dolls are ready to ship (BUYMEs on their web pages.)
