Monet

The original Monet was created as a gift to a sculptor friend and his wife when their Monet was born. Like the impressionist I used soft pastels and sculpted an artist's palette apron with five appliqued "paint" spots and trimmed it with sculpted lace. Now 12, Monet recently visited the Philadelphia Museum of Art and wrote a story about her Monet seeing the paintings in person.
