Children and rainbows are magical. Most little girls draw them soon after discovering they exist and when they learn how to hold crayons. My girls always drew them. That's probably where the idea came from! Dressed in a long floral calico dress in shades of pink and green with laced, ribboned and woven braid trimmed complimentary colorful pink apron, there is a rainbow connection right into her pocket. As I have been told by my grandson, put her on the porch when it rains, and a real rainbow will appear.  It does!
