Susan's face was to be Anne of Green Gables. Oh dear, she ought to have green eyes! Then the softness, serenity and sincerity of these brown eyes lead me to capture her as a girl's best friend -- a Susan. And it became apparent as she was clothed that she took on a rich and well-to-do demeanor. I sat behind a friend in church and studied her hair to master a perfect, full headed ponytail, trimmed with two bows, the colors of her frock and pinafore. She is our soft spoken queen of the court.
