The Big Little Wedding was the best ever

The June wedding of Matt and Myra was sensational. Bonnie’s Bundles Dolls, the Hugging Bear Inn and 25 other Chester businesses sponsored the event. On this Saturday in the Stone Village, everything was perfect. The sun shone. The music filled the air. Flowers were everywhere. The guests numbered nearly ninety, thirty of them children. The Justice of the Peace William Dakin did not skip a beat, prompting the “puppeteers,” William, Eva, Gurion, Laurel, Zinny, Fiona and Samuel who stole the hearts of the guests as they held the bears and dolls in official roles of the ceremony. Jack Cable buckled the couple onto the Farmall Cub tractor and drove them to the Fullerton for the lovely reception hosted by Nancy and Brett Rugg. The wedding cake created by Michelle from Heritage Bakery and Deli was a work of art, decorated with bees and daisies. The Stone Hearth Inn was host on Friday night and again on Saturday night.  The couple was sent off to Inn Victoria to start their honeymoon.

Perhaps best was this event, Chester’s Big Little Wedding, raised $500 from the proceeds of the silent auction for the Chester-Andover Family Center. More pictures at http://www.flickr.com/photos/ourchester/

So successful was this lighthearted event that Georgette and Bonnie plan to do it again next year.
