Shan-tzu Doll

I have a little friend who, along with this incredible fan print gilded fabric, engaged my imaginary journey to design a near look-alike of Ciana and to pull all the worldly dolls together to share in this gallery. A lady friend whose relatives were missionaries in China offered the special name meaning fan. Trimming with gold trim and finding the silky black yarn for this child's tufted hair was a special journey in itself. I love where it ended in this treasure.
