Monet Doll

The original Monet was created as a gift to a sculptor friend and his wife when their Monet was born. Like the impressionist I used soft pastels and sculpted an artist's palette apron with five appliqued "paint" spots and trimmed it with cluny lace. Young Monet, now a year and a half years old, calls her baby and is allowed to play with her. Urged by husband Lew, Monet will be made in limited signature edition of one dozen. Believe me, she is priceless. She is now featured at the Gallery at the Vault in Springfield.
