Millicent Doll

With sketchbook in hand, hanging out in the ballet studio waiting for my favorite ballerina, I dreamed up this classic benchmark face with alluring eyes. That was a good day! Some dolls are only loved in the colors in which they are "born," but as the artist, this is one doll that can be created in colors that cry out the loudest to me at a particular moment. Browns and pinks are lovely companions in contrast. She's a Hildene blue ribbon winner like her big sister Anna.
