Children and rainbows are magical. Most little girls draw them soon after discovering they exist and when they learn how to hold crayons. My girls always drew them. That's probably where the idea came from! Dressed in a long calico dress with laced, ribboned and woven braid trimmed apron, there is a rainbow connection right into her pocket. As I have been told by my friend Eva, no two rainbows are alike.
