Holly Doll

Holly IS Christmas, setting the holiday mood, as one of the decorative symbols of the joyous time of year when wreaths and Christmas icons grace our homes. Holly was featured in the Nov/Dec issue of Yankee Magazine. A similar version has a leaf green calico ruffled pinafore, gracing the lace-touched complementary print of her cranberry and gold print dress. and gingham pantaloons (not visible). A reversible bonnet adds a final trimming to this hand embroidered "tree" of Christmas splendor.
