Hattie Doll

Hattie is the epitome of a Kate Greenaway character playing with hoops and marbles in the schoolyards of days gone by. She is sweetly dressed in a peach calico print short puffed sleeved dress, tidily covered with a contrasting floral overdress with ribbons and lace. (The two cotton prints were purchased with my birthday certificate from the Quilters Emporium.) And she has those pantaloons and a bonnet as well. This heirloom has fluttering eyes and beautiful long lifelike chenille tresses.
