Hattie is the epitome of a Kate Greenaway character playing with hoops and marbles in the schoolyards of days gone by. She is sweetly dressed in a calico print short puffed sleeved dress, tidily covered with a contrasting overdress with ribbons and lace. And she has those pantaloons and a bonnet as well.
