Beatrice Doll

Nothing like the birth of a daughter's first girl (after three brothers) to pull the best out of the doll maker, the Grammie. Just like Beatrice, the doll is little bit fancy, a little bit plain, but all little girl delights. The incredible piece of cloth around which this creation was designed is the pinafore bodice. The fabric was a gift from Bea's mother. The legend goes on, for we have yards of that fabric now to create the doll just as conceived. But there is only one real live Beatrice!
