These original handmade cloth dolls are one-of-a-kind, created in Vermont from the finest cottons and yarns, and designed, cut, assembled, stuffed and wigged from start to finish by doll artist Bonnie Watters. She has made and sold over 13,000 dolls in the last forty years with help along the way from friends who embroider and stitch clothing.
Showcased and sold exclusively from our historic stone house gallery, you will meet unbelievable dolls, so real you won’t believe your own eyes. You will see and touch dolls of all sizes, colors and personalities, all featuring hand embroidered eyes and dressed in layers of calico clothing. These heirlooms are collectible, decorative and playable -- treasures to give and to receive at any age and made to last a lifetime.
Our online doll galleries introduce you to about 100 different dolls. You can call us to order or go to the ordering page to find and print the price list and order form for mailing. But seeing and touching are believing; so if you can, come visit. Remember, you will not find these keepsakes available anywhere but here.
Our gallery is open daily: Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m; Sundays. 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Closed holidays.
